Description
This Spanish Reading Comprehension resource focuses on poverty and homelessness. It includes five reading texts, each covering a different aspect of the topic.
The titles of the reading texts are:
- ¿Existe un vínculo entre la pobreza y el cambio climático? (Is there a link between poverty and climate change?)
- ¿Es posible acabar con la pobreza? (Is it possible to end poverty?)
- ¿Qué podemos hacer para aliviar la pobreza extrema en el mundo? (What can we do to alleviate extreme poverty in the world?)
- Un gato salva la vida de un joven sin hogar (A cat saves a young homeless man)
- Olvidadas: Las personas sin hogar (Forgotten: Homeless people)
The reading texts are written for intermediate / upper-intermediate level Spanish students, including GCSE (Higher). Each text is designed to include high-quality vocabulary so that students are then able to speak and write about this topic with relevant, advanced vocabulary.
